“Modi Presented India’s Message To World” Says Upendra Rai, Chairman Of Bharat Express

The G20 Summit, presided over by India, came to a successful conclusion today in the capital city of Delhi. Over the course of a dynamic two-day summit, India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, put forth a multitude of proposals that garnered recognition and admiration on a global scale. In the midst of this significant gathering, Upendra Rai, Chairman and CMD of Bharat Express, shared his insights at the International Media Centre, shedding light on the G20 Summit and its significance for India.

Upendra Rai, emphasized, “Through the platform of the G-20, India has demonstrated its stature as a developed nation on the global stage, an achievement of immense pride. While the G-7 is typically acknowledged as a consortium of developed countries, the G-20 encompasses the world’s 20 largest economies, encompassing both developed and developing nations. This G-20 summit was truly exceptional in witnessing the eloquence with which India, under the astute leadership of PM Narendra Modi, articulated its perspectives to the global community. No leader from any developed nation, including Joe Biden, could match the maturity with which India conveyed its message to the world. In today’s world, there is no one else quite like India.”

Continuing, He stated, “With the resounding success of the G-20 Summit, India has firmly stated that it is no longer a developing nation but has achieved the status of a developed nation. If there is one name that should be added to the group after the G-7, it is unequivocally India. This esteemed status has been earned by India through its numerous messages conveyed via the G-20 platform. Among these messages, the personal message of PM Modi stands out, encapsulated in the slogan ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’—the world is one family. The righteousness and maturity of PM Modi, his determination…the manner in which he sought to acquaint world leaders with India, his every word…and the strategic positioning of India on the world stage, all of this carries profound significance.”

He further highlighted India’s rich spiritual heritage, noting, “India’s religious traditions date back nearly 11,000 years, while Judaism, in contrast, has a history of about 3,000 years. Christianity is approximately 1,900 years old, and Islam, a relatively younger faith, emerged around 1,400 years ago.

Unlike these religions, which often revolve around the concepts of heaven and hell, Indian spirituality transcends these dualities. The concept of ‘Moksha,’ or liberation from the cycle of birth and death, is a term unique to India, found nowhere else in the world. The Prime Minister’s representation of India’s significance to the G-20 leaders, as exemplified by the showcasing of the Konark Sun Temple, the Chakra, Nataraja, and numerous other elements in the Bharat Mandapam, is truly remarkable and thought-provoking.”

In conclusion, India’s adept hosting of the G-20 Summit not only reaffirmed its status as a developed nation but also celebrated its distinctive cultural and spiritual heritage, making an indelible mark on the global stage.
