MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh Hosts Intellectual Gathering Marking 11 Years Of Modi Government

11 Years Of Modi Government: Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh hosted an intellectual meet at his Ashiyana residence in Lucknow to commemorate 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance.

The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from BJP Lucknow Metropolitan leaders, party workers, and local citizens.

Dr Singh stated at the event that India’s progress under PM Modi’s leadership has astonished the world.

He noted how India’s inclusive and visionary governance has gained recognition even in global political forums.

Dr Singh referred to his felicitation at the historic House of Lords in London, once a place where colonial laws were framed against India, and stated, “Today, the same institution praises the development work happening in Sarojini Nagar.”

Trade, culture & diplomacy

Dr Singh highlighted the landmark trade agreement between India and the United Kingdom, projecting that it would boost bilateral trade from ₹5 lakh crore to ₹12 lakh crore.

“India and the UK are now on equal footing,” he said, citing the massive success of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, which saw peaceful participation from 65 crore pilgrims, as an example of India’s civilizational strength.

He highlighted that India’s economic transactions in May alone amounted to ₹19 lakh crore, yet another indicator of the country’s growing financial power.

Under PM Modi, he added, India has overtaken the UK to become the world’s fourth-largest economy.

Defence & sustainability push

Dr Singh praised India’s assertive response to terrorism, stating that the country now possesses the strength to carry out cross-border counter-terrorism operations.

He also spotlighted Sarojini Nagar’s emergence as a defence and industrial hub, with BrahMos and Ashok Leyland factories in the pipeline.

Dr Singh also stated that the world no longer sees India merely as a developing nation but recognises it as a global power in defence, economy, and culture.

He also stressed the PM Modi government’s commitment to environmental goals like net-zero emissions, promotion of renewable energy, and ecological preservation, which have garnered admiration globally.

Hundreds of enthusiastic supporters, citizens, and party workers welcomed Dr Singh at the Lucknow airport as he returned from London after receiving the ‘Excellence in Political and Public Life’ award.

Addressing the gathering, he said, “This honour is not mine alone, it belongs to the people of Sarojini Nagar, whose support, efforts, and pride I carry with me.”

Several notable figures, including local representatives, party leaders, and residents, attended the event, making it a grand show of support for the development vision led by PM Modi.
