MLA Bhullar Unveils Second Bus In Ferozepur For ‘CM’s Pilgrimage Scheme

In a significant development under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government’s ‘Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme’ reached another milestone today with the dispatch of the second passenger bus from Ferozepur City. Ranbir Singh Bhullar, accompanied by his wife Dr. Amandeep Kaur, flagged off the bus, signaling the commencement of a journey to Sri Damdama Sahib (Talwandi Sabo) and Sri Amritsar Sahib.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the initiative, Bhullar highlighted that the scheme aims to provide free travel facilities for pilgrims at the constituency level, enabling them to visit various pilgrimage sites across the country. He emphasized the overwhelming response from the people of Ferozepur Urban constituency, who eagerly participate in these pilgrimages to historical places.

As a gesture of hospitality, the MLA handed over a welcome kit to the pilgrims, containing essential items for their journey. This thoughtful provision aligns with the government’s commitment to ensuring a comfortable and enriching experience for the participants. Bhullar further underscored that the Punjab government is covering the costs of food, local travel, and accommodation, aiming to facilitate a hassle-free pilgrimage for the passengers.

The ‘Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme’ stands as a testament to the government’s dedication to promoting cultural and religious heritage, fostering unity among communities, and making sacred sites accessible to all. As the buses continue to roll out, the initiative is set to leave an indelible mark on the pilgrimage landscape in Punjab, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and shared cultural experiences.
