Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Minister and Nishad Party National President Dr Sanjay Kumar Nishad visited Chakla village in the Chilla police station area of Banda district. The visit followed the horrific rape and murder of a 3-year-old girl, a crime that has deeply shaken the community.
Dr Nishad met the bereaved family and offered his condolences. He assured them that the accused would face the strictest punishment.
“This incident is a shame on humanity. The guilty will be punished in a way that sets an example for society,” said the minister.
He further reiterated Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime, citing the swift arrest and police encounter of the accused as proof of firm governance.
The minister also directed police officials at the site to conduct a fair, serious and rapid investigation. He emphasised that justice must not be delayed.
Dr Nishad extended immediate financial aid on behalf of the Nishad Party, acknowledging the family’s poor economic status. He called this assistance a moral duty rather than a favour and committed to helping the family in every future need.
He stated that the Uttar Pradesh government, the Nishad Party and its workers would provide all legal, economic and social aid to the family.
“No hurdle will come in the way of justice. The government and Nishad Party will fight till the last breath to ensure safety and dignity for every daughter,” Dr Nishad declared.
He appealed to the public to unite against such atrocities to prevent future crimes. Several public representatives, party officials, police personnel and local residents joined him during the visit, showcasing strong community support.
