Massive fire breakout at railway station in Bengal; firefighting operations underway

On Saturday morning, a fire started at the Kulti Railway Station in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. Firefighters were called to the scene to put out the fire that was consuming cables stored beneath a footbridge at the train station.

After the flames have completely gone out, it is anticipated that the origin of the fire and the degree of damage to Kulti Railway Station will be evaluated.
Further investigation is underway and more information is awaited.
