Maharashtra: Pelhar police arrested highway robbers near Mumbai. The robbers caught are very clever. They used to execute the incident on the pretext of dropping the passengers by becoming drivers. On the pretext of taking the passengers to the destination, they would take them to an unknown place by sitting in the car and loot their belongings such as mobiles, laptops and valuables and run away. The police have arrested three members of this gang.

In such situation, in the guise of a driver, he used to make them sit in an auto and take them to some secluded place. The passengers could not guess that they would find the robbers in the guise of the driver.

The matter came to notice when one such person caught an auto to reach his destination. But he got trapped in the clutches of these robbers and became their victim. After that he went to the police station to file a report and got an FIR registered. When the reality came to the fore when the police started investigating the matter, this gang was exposed.

According to Senior Inspector Pelhar Police Station, on December 18, robbers made a person sit in a rickshaw and later beat him up at one place and snatched a total of Rs 14,000, including mobile, wrist watch and cash, from him in a moving rickshaw. Thrown away. While investigating the case, the officer of the police station arrested the accused on the basis of CCTV and other technical information.

On scanning the footage of the CCTV camera, the accused was seen running away with a rickshaw. Apart from this, the victim is also seen running away in the second CCTV. The accused have been arrested from Sativali of Tungar Phata in Vasai. The names of the arrested accused are Ravi Gupta, Vivek Rai and Amir Paswan.
