The UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his visit to Prayagraj , inspected various on going development projects in the district and gave necessary directions to the officials, on Wednesday. Later he presided over a review meeting with senior officials regarding the preparations for Mahakumbh and Magh Mela on the Sangam banks.
CM said that the divine and grand Kumbh of 2019 has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. There are expectations from all over the world about the Maha kumbh of 2025. This is a golden opportunity to present itself to the world as the new symbol of India. The world will see the cultural splendor of India in the upcoming Kumbh.
Chief Minister Yogi, who was on Prayagraj tour, first worshiped Mother Ganga at VIP Ghat. After that he reached Sangam Nose, where he took complete stock of the preparations for the fair along with the fair officer.
Later, the Chief Minister inspected the concrete ghat built at the fort ghat and also saw the preparations inside the fort. He further inspected the construction work of Qila Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat and the works of Akshayvat, Patalpuri and Saraswati Koop Corridor. During this, he instructed the officers to complete all the works in a timely and quality manner.
The Chief Minister said that take Magh Mela as a rehearsal for Maha Kumbh. He said that by showcasing the administrative capacity, cultural richness and tourism facilities of Uttar Pradesh, we will make this time’s Mahakumbh more divine.
He further directed that standards of cleanliness should be maintained during the event and care should be taken that banned polythene is not used in the fair. For this, make devotees aware using the public address system.
