“All the necessary arrangements have been done. 87 companies of central paramilitary forces and more than 4000 personnel from state police have been deployed for security, to ensure elections are free and fair,” Jha added.

The Chief Electoral Officer further asserted, “We are going to do webcasting of the critical and vulnerable polling stations. We will have 9 special polling stations in 3 districts for internally displaced voters.”

Pradeep Kumar Jha further highlighted that 191 polling stations will be managed by women polling personnel.
