The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) extended an invitation to BJP veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi to attend the Ram Temple’s consecration ceremony in Ayodhya the following month. This occurs one day after the temple trust announced that LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi’s age and health make it unlikely that they will attend the consecration ceremony next month.
“Both the seniors said they will make every effort to come,” said Alok Kumar, VHP’s International Executive President.
“Invited respected Lal Krishna Advani ji and respected Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi ji, the pioneer of Ram Mandir movement, to attend the Pran Pratishtha program of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024,” Alok Kumar, Vishwa Hindu Parishad member, said.
The temple trust said that LK Advani (96) and Murli Manohar Joshi (89) are unlikely to attend next month’s consecration ceremony due to their health and age.
