On Keith’s question about whether the channel will also go for Sports content, Upendra Rai said that all national sports events particularly cricket would be presented through the channel for our viewers.
Being commercially realistic Keth asked -‘Is it going to be tough bringing up a news channel when print and satellite revenue are going down? Replying to this Rai quoted the recent interviews of Adani and Ambani and said the Indian economy in the next 15 years will be more than 30 billion dollar economy, which is a positive sign for growth. Significantly in the post-Covid era, India is fantastically growing constantly, and along with it Indian news organizations also growing at the same pace. And this is what makes us feel positive about the news future of the country.
Talking about today’s digital presence in life, Upendra Rai said, today if you want to make money you have to digitize the content that is given to you as the boon of technology and you have mobile in your hands as the biggest asset in this direction to expand from local to the global market.
