On the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev’s 555th birth anniversary, also known as ‘Prakash Parv’, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended their heartfelt greetings to the nation.
They paid tribute to the teachings, which continue to inspire millions around the world with messages of truth, compassion, and service.
Taking to X, President Murmu posted, “On the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Indians living in the country and abroad, especially to my Sikh brothers and sisters.”
“Guru Nanak Dev Ji showed us the path of spirituality based on hard work. He taught us the values of truth, contentment, compassion, humility, and love in building a society. Guru Nanak Dev Ji emphasized shared responsibility in social life, which is the path to social harmony,” she added.
President Murmu further stated, “Guru Nanak Ji is a guiding light for us all. It is our collective responsibility to adopt his ideals and build a harmonious and egalitarian society.”
PM Modi also extended his greetings. He highlighting Guru Nanak’s teachings on compassion and unity.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Sri Guru Nanak Jayanti. May the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspire us to further the spirit of compassion, kindness and humility. May it also motivate us to serve society and make our planet better.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah conveyed his tributes to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, emphasizing his enduring principles of truth, mercy, and equality.
Taking to X, Shah posted, “Heartfelt greetings to all fellow citizens on the occasion of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv.”
“Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is an unparalleled example of truth, compassion, and equality. His teachings have been a guiding light for all of humanity. Guru Nanak Ji’s life will continue to show the path of peace, humanity, and harmony,” he added.
