Leaders Applaud PM Modi’s 126th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Address

The 126th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, aired on Sunday and received widespread acclaim from political leaders and citizens alike.

The Prime Minister’s reflections on India’s cultural and historical legacy, alongside his tribute to freedom fighters, struck a chord across the nation.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak remarked that PM Modi’s words resonated deeply with citizens.

He said, “The Prime Minister addressed the nation with guiding words, paying tribute to leaders whose sacrifices shaped India’s freedom struggle. The legacy of Shaheed Bhagat Singh continues to inspire the youth, symbolising dreams and courage for every young Indian.”

BJP MP and actress Hema Malini praised the inclusive nature of the programme.

“Mann Ki Baat connects people from all walks of life, highlighting their talents and encouraging them. The Prime Minister’s outreach bridges social and economic divides beautifully,” she said.

Other prominent leaders, including Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Union Minister Harsh Malhotra, Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, and Patparganj MLA Ravinder Singh Negi, also listened to the broadcast and encouraged citizens to tune in.

CM Sai noted, “Every Indian eagerly awaits the last Sunday of the month, when the Prime Minister speaks directly to crores of citizens.”

Highlighting Festivals and Nation-Building

During the broadcast, PM Modi touched on significant events, including the upcoming Vijayadashami festival and the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

“This year, Vijayadashami is especially significant as it marks 100 years of the RSS. The organisation has tirelessly engaged in nation-building, responding swiftly to natural disasters and embodying the principle of ‘Rashtra Pratham’ (Nation First),” he said.

The Prime Minister also extended his best wishes to volunteers dedicated to national service and underscored the programme’s ongoing role in fostering unity, patriotism, and public participation across India.
