Last rites of Subrata Roy to be performed today in Bhainsakund, funeral procession to start from Sahara city at 10 am

Subrata Roy died on Wednesday (November 15) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. At 4:10 pm his mortal remains were brought to Sahara city in Lucknow. Where there was a rush of people to pay their last respects. From common people to VIPs came for darshan. This sequence continued the whole night. Today (16 November) the last rites will be performed at Bhainsakund on the banks of Gomti. At 10 am, Saharashri’s mortal remains will be taken to Bhainsakund.

A large number of employees and officials associated with the Sahara family reached Sahara city. Where people’s eyes were filled with tears after seeing the mortal remains of Sahara chief Subrata Roy. Those who paid their last respects included children, elders, youth and women. The people present there looked emotional while sharing stories related to the deceased.

Let us tell you that the distance from the main gate of Sahara city to the place where the body was kept was long, due to which arrangements for pickup were made at the main gate. Those who had last darshan were being taken in a pickup vehicle. People kept coming and going throughout the night.

The funeral will be held at Bhainsakund at 10 o’clock

The last rites of Subrata Roy will be held at Bhainsakund at 10 am. The mortal remains will be released from Sahara city at around 10 am. He will be cremated in Bhainsakund. In view of the huge crowd during this period, elaborate security arrangements have been made.

Leaders arrived and paid tribute

From common people to politicians, ministers and many stalwarts including former CM Akhilesh Yadav came to see Mr. Roy for the last time. In which Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, SP state president Naresh Uttam Patel, General Secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav, former Congress state president Raj Babbar, former ministers Arvind Singh Gop, Abhishek Mishra, SP MLC Rajesh Yadav, Lok Dal national spokesperson Anil Dubey, RJD state president Ashok Singh, Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra along with Ammar Rizvi, MP Naresh Aggarwal, Minister Nitin Aggarwal.
