As the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya approaches, the first of the 46 doors has been installed, adorned with gold coating and measuring 12 feet in height and 8 feet in width. Over the next three days, an additional 13 golden doors will be mounted on the upper floor of the sanctum sanctorum, as announced by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s office.
Out of the total doors planned for installation, 42 will feature gold coating. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is in Ayodhya to oversee the preparations, declared a holiday for all schools and colleges in the state on January 22, the day of the Ram Temple inauguration. Additionally, he emphasized a state-wide liquor ban on the inauguration day.
During his visit, Chief Minister Adityanath directed the implementation of the ‘Kumbh Model’ of cleanliness in Ayodhya and launched a cleanliness campaign on January 14. The campaign aims to ensure a clean and hygienic environment in Ayodhya in the lead-up to the consecration ceremony.

The city is gearing up for the “Pran Pratishtha” at the temple on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other special invitees expected to attend the grand event. The temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has extended invitations to over 7,000 people, including politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, and industrialists.”
