Lalu Yadav Immersed In Rampant Corruption: JP Nadda

Amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha election 2024, BJP President JP Nadda on Thursday addressed a public rally in Araria, Bihar.

During his rally address, JP Nadda stated that during Jayaprakash Narayan’s movement, Lalu Prasad Yadav had raised his voice against nepotism, dynastic politics, bribery, and corruption.

Today, the same Lalu Yadav is immersed in rampant corruption. He stands alongside those Congress members whom he had opposed during the Emergency era.

Nadda asserted that Baba Saheb Ambedkar did not provide reservation on the basis of religion in the Constitution. He added that those in the INDI Alliance want to take away reservations for SC, ST, and OBC. Instead, they propose providing reservations based on religion.

Nadda further mentioned the future plans by Prime Minister Modi. He said “In the coming times, PM Modi is planning to give Rs. 5 lakhs insurance to people aged above 70.”

Polling in Bihar, which sends 40 members to the Lok Sabha, is conducted in seven phases. The counting of votes for all phases is slated for 4 June.

In the 2019 elections, the BJP-led NDA almost swept the polls in the state. The party secured victory in 39 out of the 40 seats.
