Uttar Pradesh Labour and Employment Coordination Minister Anil Rajbhar visited the Ahimamau intersection to engage with daily wage earners and inform them about government schemes designed to support them.
The minister’s unexpected presence prompted workers to share their concerns, to which he responded with assurances of assistance. Rajbhar emphasized that the Uttar Pradesh government has implemented various initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of workers. He encouraged the daily wage earners to register on the Labour Department portal to access these benefits, specifically highlighting the registration process for construction workers under the Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

“The government is commit to uplifting workers and their families. Every scheme is designed with their welfare in mind. If you take one step, the government will follow you a hundred steps,” Rajbhar stated.
The minister also outlined several new initiatives aimed at enhancing workers’ conditions, including a skill development program. Current schemes include the Maternal Child and Girl Child Aid Scheme, Sant Ravidas Education Promotion Scheme, and the Mahatma Gandhi Pension Scheme, among others. Officials from the Labour Department, including Assistant Labor Commissioner Sumit Kumar, were present during the visit.
