Khalistani Terrorist Annihilated In Piliphit Encouter: Punjab DGP

A joint operation of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab police led to the annihilation of three ISI-backed khalistani terrorists in an encounter that took place in Philiphit of UP.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav confirmed on Monday that those annihilated were operatives of Khalistan Zindabad Force and two  AK 47 rifles, and Glock pistols were recovered from them.

Punjab DGP Yadav revealed that Pakistan-based Ranjit Singh Nita, the chief of KZF, masterminded the module. Nita coordinated operations through Jaswinder Singh Manu, who operates from Greece.

The module leader, Varinder Elias Ravi, shared the same village as Manu. Authorities linked the suspects to a grenade attack on the Bakshiwala police post in Punjab.

Investigations uncovered the involvement of Jagjit Singh, a UK-based operative reportedly working in the British Army. Yadav disclosed that Jagjit Singh used the alias Fateh Singh Bagi, under which the attack was claimed.

Interstate Cooperation Praised

Yadav lauded the seamless coordination between UP and Punjab Police. “This operation is a classic example of interstate cooperation,” he said. Prompt information sharing enabled swift action against the module.

Ongoing Investigations

Authorities continue to investigate the network. Yadav stated that more arrests and recoveries are expected as the probe deepens.

UP DGP Prashant Kumar shared on X: “UP Police, in collaboration with Punjab Police, has successfully dismantled a Pakistan-sponsored terror module. This is a resolute step towards ensuring national security.”
