Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has expressed strong support for the concerns raised by students regarding the UP PCS (Provincial Civil Services) examination, calling for a prompt resolution to ensure fairness and transparency.
Maurya highlighted students’ concerns surrounding the examination’s multi-day schedule, the use of private institutions as examination centers, and the overall standardization process, emphasizing that these issues are serious and important.
Additionally, students have appealed for a more transparent and fair examination system, underscoring that their hard work and future aspirations deserve due respect and safeguarding.
In response, Maurya pointed out that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the BJP government has taken significant steps to uphold integrity in the recruitment process.
Since 2017, the administration has actively targeted recruitment-related malpractices and has awarded appointment letters to approximately 7 lakh youth, demonstrating its commitment to fair employment practices.
Maurya urged the relevant officials to listen attentively to the students’ demands and address their concerns with sensitivity.
He stressed the importance of enabling students to concentrate on their preparation rather than protests, urging authorities to expedite the resolution of any court cases impacting the examination.
“We must ensure that no student’s future remains uncertain,” he stated, calling on officials to act swiftly to respect students’ valuable time and dedication.
