Karnataka: Class 4 Kid Beaten To Death By Teacher

Karnataka: Last Tuesday, Class 4 students at the Government Model Primary School in the Hadli hamlet of Karnataka’s Gadag district revealed the horrible incident of a teacher killing a classmate by beating him or her.

Bharat Barakeri, a nine-year-old child, died from his injuries on Monday after the tragic occurrence occurred on Saturday December 17, 2022. His mother, who works as a teacher at the same institution, was also attacked and taken to the hospital. She was stated to be in a serious condition.

Police have assembled a specialised team to track down the wanted suspect, teacher Muttappa Yallappa Hadagali.

The accused instructor, Muttu Sir, entered the classroom while we were studying divisions, according to the students who were there and described the incident. Bharat was asked to leave the class with him after he requested her to. Then Muttu Sir informed us of Bharat’s talent for humour. Out of the room, he was taken by him.

‘Muttu Sir bolted the classroom door from outside after Bharat left the lesson,’ the student said. The teacher’s and Bharat’s shouts could be heard, according to a student.

“After a while, the door was opened, and we all hurried outside to find out what had occurred. Blood was evident everywhere, as far as we could tell. Geetha teacher was unconscious and lying in a pool of blood. Later, we were told to go home.”

According to the authorities, the accused instructor shovelled the youngster before throwing him over the first story.

The kid’s mother, Geetha Barakeri, was also beaten by the defendant for interrogating the boy. Bharat fled to his mother Geetha, who works as a teacher at the school, when the accused began beating him.

Kid & Mother’s Condition in Karnataka

The youngster died from his injuries after being sent to the Hubballi KIMS hospital.

The Naragunda police have opened an investigation and begun looking for the accused instructor. According to the police sources, they have only begun their preliminary investigation but they already have reason to believe that the boy’s mother and the accused instructor were having an illicit connection.

During a recent school tour in front of the pupils, the accused and Geetha got into an altercation. Since that time, Geetha had kept her distance from him. According to police sources, the accused instructor became enraged by this and committed the act.
