Karnataka BJP Chief Issues Caution Against Underestimating Political Opponents in Lok Sabha Elections

Addressing party members and leaders, Karnataka BJP President B Y Vijayendra emphasized the importance of not underestimating political opponents in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Urging them to showcase the achievements of the party-led NDA government, he called for relentless efforts to secure victory in all 28 seats in the state.

Speaking at the inauguration of the State BJP’s Special Executive meeting, Vijayendra highlighted the accomplishments of the BJP-led government at the Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He praised the government’s commitment to clear ideas, good governance, and the fight against corruption, aiming to elevate India’s status among the world’s leading nations.

Taking a swipe at the Congress, Vijayendra criticized their response to the invitation for the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya and accused the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government of seeking revenge against Hindu workers in the state.

Pointing out the deteriorating law and order situation and the alleged failure to address farmers’ issues, Vijayendra labeled the Congress government in Karnataka as anti-people, anti-farmer, and anti-Dalit. He asserted that the Congress was under the illusion of winning the Lok Sabha polls with insufficient promises.

Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, addressing the gathering, declared the upcoming Lok Sabha polls as a crucial test for the party. He urged party members to secure a victory in all 28 constituencies, contributing to Narendra Modi’s success. Yeddyurappa criticized the Congress government for internal conflicts, collapsed administration, and rampant corruption.

In summary, the leaders emphasized the need to present the achievements of the BJP-led government, expose the shortcomings of the Congress, and work tirelessly to secure victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
