The grand Kalki Mahotsav began on Thursday, November 7, at the Shri Kalki Dham premises in Anchoda Kamboh, Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh. Organized as part of the 108 Kundiya Shiladan Mahayagna, the festival drew participants and spiritual leaders from across the country.
On the festival’s first day, devotees gathered for the Sarvathsiddhi Mahayagna, performing sacrifices alongside religious guru Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the Peethadheeshwar of Shri Kalki Dham. Attendees hailed from various villages and cities across India, showcasing the event’s broad appeal and spiritual significance.
Adding to the festivities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a heartfelt letter of good wishes to Acharya Pramod Krishnam. In his message, PM Modi lauded the preparations for Shri Kalki Dham’s construction and congratulated the participants of the 108 Kundiya Shiladan Mahayagna.
The Prime Minister highlighted India’s recent strides in preserving and rejuvenating its cultural heritage, citing milestones like the enthronement of Ramlala in Ayodhya, the revitalization of Kashi, and the transformation of Baba Vishwanath Dham. Reflecting on his personal connection to the Shri Kalki Dham project, PM Modi recalled laying its foundation stone in February 2024 and expressed confidence that it would become a major center of faith and devotion.
On Friday, November 8, Acharya Pramod Krishnam took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a special moment from the festival. He noted that Juna Peethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avdheshanand Ji Maharaj read out PM Modi’s message during the event. Renowned poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas was also present, further elevating the occasion with his inspiring presence.
The Kalki Mahotsav reflects the profound spiritual ethos of India and celebrates the efforts to construct Shri Kalki Dham as a beacon of Sanatan Dharma. As devotees continue to gather and participate in this grand festival, the event underscores the timeless relevance of India’s cultural and religious traditions.
