Just A Day For The Pran Pratishtha Left And PM Modi Is At Ram Setu’s Origin Point In Dhanushkodi; Know Why

On Sunday morning, one day before the pran-pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Lalla’s idol in Ayodhya, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi paid a visit to the Arichal Munai, the location from where the Ram Setu was built, near Dhanushkodi in Tamil Nadu. ‘Anulom vilom’ was practiced by Modi at Arichal Munai Point.

PM Modi’s visit to Dhanushkodi

Most people agree that Lord Ram made the pledge to vanquish Ravana in Dhanushkodi. From this ground, Lord Ram traveled to Lanka. Modi is scheduled to conduct a pooja at the Sri Kothandarama Swamy temple. Kothandarama translates to “Rama with the bow.” The place is called Dhanushkodi. It is stated that Vibhishana, the brother of Ravana, encountered Lord Ram here for the first time and begged him for safety. According to certain stories, this is also the location where Lord Ram conducted Vibhishana’s coronation.

Ram Mandir’s Pran-Patishtha ceremony

These trips are very important since Modi will be at Ayodhya on Monday for the Ram Mandir pran-pratishtha. The Prime Minister visited Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram, the southern state, and Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli earlier on Saturday.

With about 8,000 VIP guests expected to attend the great ceremony in Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh Police force increased security in the temple town. Drones are flying high for overhead monitoring and boats are used for patrolling the Saryu River, according to Additional Director General (ADG) Lucknow Zone Piyush Mordia.

Ram Lalla finally reaches Ayodhya

The sanctum sanctorum of the Ayodhya temple now houses the deity of Lord Ram Lalla. Arun Yogiraj, a sculptor based in Mysuru, created the idol of “Ram Lalla.” The idol weights 1.5 tons and is 51 inches tall. The idol, which is made of the same stone, shows Lord Ram as a five-year-old boy standing atop a lotus.

From Lucknow, a ’56 bhog prasad’ that would be given ‘first’ to Ram Lalla following the pran-pratishtha ceremony has also arrived in the city.
