Invest MPGIS 2023:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Seventh Global Investors Summit in Indore today. The President of Guyana, Dr. Mohammed Irfan Ali, and the President of Suriname, Mr. Chandrika Prasad Santokhi participated especially in this program. Speaking to the gathering, PM Modi said that the Amrit Kaal (nectar period) of India’s independence has started. Everyone is busy building a developed India at full speed. In such a situation, Madhya Pradesh’s strength and determination will play a decisive role.

India is the fastest growing economy in the world – PM Modi

PM Modi said that not only every Indian, every organization, and every expert in the world is witnessing India’s growing economy as a shining star supporting the global economy. Our strong macroeconomic fundamentals enable us to lead the world. The PM said that today India is the fastest-growing economy in the world. In the next four to five years, India will be the third-largest economy in the world. This is not only India’s decade on the global stage but also India’s century.

We are moving towards self-sufficiency – PM Modi

PM Modi said that today India is the center of attraction for investors from all over the world. The reason for this is their indomitable faith in India. India has strong democracy, youth power, political stability, fast decision-making ability, ease of living, and ease of doing business. India is walking on the path of Reform, Transform and Perform. There is an unprecedented pace of development in India today. From the year 2014, we are moving towards self-reliance at a fast pace.

There is every necessary facility for investment in India – PM

PM Modi said that India has every necessary facility for investment, National Single Window System, simplified labor laws, freedom from various restrictions, modern and multi-model infrastructure, the world’s most competitive logistics market. Logistics policy also has been implemented in the country, we have optical fiber in every village, there is 5G network, the speed of our national highways has doubled in the last 8 years, the number of operational airports has also doubled, we have a dedicated industrial corridor There are expressways, logistic parks, along with this, our port capacity has also increased.

Suriname will cooperate with India in various fields- Chandrika Prasad

Suriname President Chandrika Prasad Santokhi said that PM of India Narendra Modi is working with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. With the improvement in the economy, work is progressing in different areas. India is leading today. Suriname will have bilateral cooperation with India in various fields.

Direct experience of cleanliness and beauty of Indore – Irfan Ali

Guyana’s President Mohammad Irfan Ali said that he is happy to visit Madhya Pradesh and meet Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Due to good governance and good policies in Madhya Pradesh, the pace of development has increased. He said he had a direct experience of the cleanliness and beauty of Indore city. Due to these specialties, many industries are coming to Madhya Pradesh. Guyana will also become a partner in industrial development. President Ali also mentioned about Guyana’s emergence as a cricketing hub.

Discussion on the characteristics of Madhya Pradesh: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that this summit being held in Indore is truly global. In this summit where the Presidents of two countries Suriname and Guyana have come, the Finance Minister of Mauritius, the Commerce Minister of Bangladesh, and the Mineral Minister of Zimbabwe have also come in the same summit. Representatives from 33 countries of the world have come. A total of 431 delegates from 84 countries have come. Today there has been a special discussion about the specialties of Madhya Pradesh.

Kumar Mangalam of Aditya Birla Group said that the geographical location of Madhya Pradesh makes the state suitable in all respects from an investment point of view. Our group has a historical relationship with the state. The group has an investment of 60 thousand crores in the state. Industrial Policy and Startup Policy are suitable from the point of view of investment in the future.

Nikhil R Meswani of Reliance Group said that by December 2023, 5G facility will be made available in all the tehsils of the state. Affordable digital facilities will benefit students, farmers, and the common man. Reliance Group has so far invested 22 thousand 500 crores in the state and there is a plan to invest 40 thousand crores also.

Pranav Adani of Adani Group said that PM Modi has created a competitive environment around various states in Ease of Doing Business. MP is among the leading states in this list. Adani group is going to invest 60 thousand crores here.

Nadir Godrej of Godrej Group gave information regarding the activities and future plans of Godrej Group in Madhya Pradesh. Firodia of Force Group also addressed the program. Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon expressed gratitude at the end of the function.
