Ingka Centres, part of the Ingka Group, unveiled “Lykli,” its second meeting place in India, in Noida. With an investment of ₹5500 crore, the project is expected to create over 9,000 jobs. This mixed-use development will include an IKEA store, retail spaces, dining, entertainment, and co-working facilities.
The project aims to attract over 25 million visitors annually and will be a key destination in Noida and the Delhi NCR region. Lykli will also include eco-friendly features, aiming for LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certifications.
At the launch event, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called the project a significant step toward modern urban living in the state. He emphasized that it aligns with the vision of sustainable, community-focused development.
Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta welcomed Ingka Centres and IKEA to Uttar Pradesh. He highlighted how the investor-friendly policies will help the project reach its full potential and benefit the local economy.
Sebastian Hylving, Global Expansion Director at Ingka Centres, said the Noida project is a key milestone in Ingka’s global expansion. The development is designed to serve Noida’s growing population and foster community interaction.
Susanne Pulverer, CEO of IKEA India, said this is an important step in IKEA’s growth in India. She emphasized the brand’s commitment to providing affordable home décor while contributing to the local economy.
Lykli Noida will be the first Ingka Centre in the world to include a hotel as part of its mixed-use design. Sustainable transportation will be prioritized, with direct access to two metro stations, 70 EV charging points, and 4,500 parking slots.
