India’s First Dome City Set To Welcome Tourists At Mahakumbh 2025

In a groundbreaking development, the Uttar Pradesh government is constructing India’s first Dome City at Maha Kumbh, blending modernity with spirituality. The project, a collaboration between the Tourism Department and private company Evo Life Space Pvt. Ltd., is set to transform the Maha Kumbh experience for visitors.

Located in the Arail area of Maha Kumbh Nagar, the ₹51 crore Dome City spans 3.25 hectares and promises to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for tourists. Visitors will enjoy panoramic 360-degree views of the Maha Kumbh festivities, offering a hill-station-like experience amidst the religious fervor.

Innovative Design And Modern Amenities

Company Director Amit Johri shared that the Dome City will feature 44 domes, each measuring 32×32 feet, built at a height of 15 to 18 feet. These domes, constructed with bulletproof and fireproof polycarbonate sheets, will ensure safety while providing stunning views of the Kumbh.

Each dome will be equipped with modern amenities, offering a comfortable stay for tourists throughout the event. Alongside the domes, the Dome City will also have 176 cottages, each 16×16 feet, equipped with air conditioning, geysers, and provisions for satvik food.

Exclusive Pricing And Online Bookings In Mahakumbh 2025

The pricing for staying in the Dome City varies depending on the period. During the bathing festival, a dome will cost ₹1,10,000 per day, while on regular days, the rent will be ₹81,000. Cottages at ₹81,000 during the festival and ₹41,000 on normal days. Online booking for both cottages and domes has already begun, allowing visitors to secure their accommodations in advance.

To enhance the spiritual ambiance, the cottages will also feature arrangements for religious and cultural presentations. This initiative aims to set a new benchmark for international-standard tourism facilities at the Maha Kumbh.

CM Yogi Adityanath To Inspect Dome City

As part of his efforts to ensure that the Maha Kumbh becomes the grandest yet, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inspect the Dome City during his visit on December 23. The Dome City expect to become a major highlight of the Maha Kumbh, attracting visitors from around the world who seek a unique and immersive experience.

This ambitious project is a key part of the state government’s plan to modernize Prayagraj and make the Maha Kumbh a world-class event, blending tradition with innovation.
