India has launched a global diplomatic drive after Operation Sindoor. It has sent seven all-party delegations to 25 selected countries. The aim is to counter Pakistan’s anti-India propaganda and show a united national stance.
The Centre chose these nations carefully. Most are either current or future members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Others hold strong global influence. India wants to reach key voices in global diplomacy before Pakistan does.
BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi explained the selection. She said Pakistan will stay on the UNSC for 17 more months. It will use that time to spread lies and push its anti-India agenda. “These nations were chosen because their voices matter. Many will be part of UNSC soon. We want to present the truth before Pakistan creates false narratives,” she said.
The 10-day outreach begins on 23 May. It includes 51 political leaders from across parties and eight former ambassadors. Senior MPs like Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Baijayant Panda, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Supriya Sule, and Shrikant Eknath Shinde will lead the teams. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is coordinating the mission.
Sarangi said, “MPs will meet top officials and political leaders abroad. We will tell them how Pakistan sponsors terrorism. We condemn Pakistan’s actions.” She added, “India speaks in one voice. We have zero tolerance for terrorism.”
The government aims to show that the entire political spectrum in India supports this message. Officials want to prevent Pakistan from twisting facts at future UNSC meetings.
India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May after the Pahalgam terror attack. That attack killed 26 Indians. In response, India struck nine terror bases in Pakistan and PoK. The military killed nearly 100 terrorists.
Now, India has moved from battlefield to diplomacy. The government wants global support and aims to block Pakistan’s lies before they take root.
