The Income Tax Department conducted a series of raids today in various locations across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The operation targeted a shoe manufacturing company in Agra, resulting in the seizure of cash amounting to several crores of rupees.
According to Samvad sources, during Saturday’s search operation on May 18, the department recovered Rs 40 crore in cash. The process of counting the seized currency notes extended over several hours. The raids were carried out in key cities, including Kanpur, Agra, and Delhi.
