Rainfall
IMD has forecasted a significant decrease in rainfall and distribution in Delhi and Western Himalayan Region, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh & Rajasthan till 22 March. However, a fresh spell of rainfall and thunderstorm activity is likely to occur from March 23.
The weather agency has predicted generally cloudy skies .However their is possibility of very light rain or drizzle today in the national capital. The maximum temperature is 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 15 degrees Celsius.
Earlier, India Meteorological Department (IMD) tweeted, “Light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR. Thunderstorms with moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 40-60 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of Meerut, Modinagar, Pilakhua, Hapur (U.P.),” on Monday.

Some areas of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya may experience heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Across Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim, quite widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely.
Yanam, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Gangetic West Bengal may get sporadic showers and thunderstorms.
Thunderstorms and isolated rain or snowfall are possible over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, and Ladakh.
Across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, West Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidharbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, and Mahe, isolated rains and thunderstorms are expected.
