IICC Members Will Feel Proud Of Their Membership: Afzal Amanullah

The excitement for the upcoming India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) elections on August 11 is gaining momentum. Addressing a gathering at the New Horizon School in East Nizamuddin, New Delhi, former Government of India Secretary and IICC presidential candidate Afzal Amanullah stated that the IICC is a center for the community and nation, where significant work for society can be accomplished. However, this is only possible if the leadership of IICC is in the hands of capable, honest individuals who understand the pain of the community. Mr. Afzal Amanullah emphasized that Muslims in the country face numerous issues that need resolution, and the IICC can play a significant role in addressing these challenges. He appealed to the large number of voters present to give him and his team a chance, promising to make the center a valuable institution for the Muslim community.

Addressing the gathering, spokesperson for Team Afzal Amanullah and Board of Trustees candidate Dr. M. Rahmatullah said that all members of Afzal Amanullah’s team are qualified, highly educated, experienced, and honest. He asserted that if they are entrusted with the leadership of IICC, it would benefit both society and the country. Senior journalist and academic Dr. Rahmatullah noted that IICC members have grown weary of the leadership style and incompetence of the same panel over the past twenty years. Thus, voters have decided to elect candidates with a clean image this time. Encouraged by the support from IICC members, Team Afzal Amanullah has already started working on the first six months’ action plans post-election victory.

Vice-presidential candidate Badruddin Khan stated that voters have taken Afzal Amanullah’s qualifications and experience very seriously, which is why opponents are now engaged in spreading negative propaganda and conspiring. However, they have not been very successful in their efforts. Another Board of Trustees candidate, Kamal Farooqui, elaborated on the current situation of IICC and the various panels in this election. Mr. Farooqui stated that only Team Afzal Amanullah can elevate IICC to new heights. Team member Sikandar Hayat Khan discussed the team’s clean image and experience in social work, asserting that no other panel or team is better than Team Afzal Amanullah in this election. Athar Zaya promised to fulfill their commitments within a set timeframe upon winning. BOT candidate Sohail Rafat expressed that the support from IICC members is a source of enthusiasm for Team Afzal Amanullah. He urged voters to elect the entire team, highlighting the opportunity to choose a competent team. The gathering was also addressed by Syed Faisal Ali, Javed Khan, Sajid Malik, Advocate Mo. Sajid, and others. A large number of people from East Nizamuddin and surrounding areas were present on the occasion.
