PRAYAGRAJ
After Samajwadi Party MLAs voted in favor of BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections, a very suspicious atmosphere has developed in Samajwadi Party .
In this regard the senior Samajwadi party leader and former MP Kuwar Reoti Raman Singh straight away alleged the national president Akhilesh Yadav by saying that he is not able to handle the party leaders.
He further said that if he had managed the party’s MLAs, no one would have moved here and there. He himself has not talked to Akhilesh Yadav for about two and a half years.
Kuwar Reoti Raman Singh, an eight-time MLA, two-time MP and once Rajya Sabha member, also said that the SP MLAs who voted in favor of BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections should not have done so. Why the MLAs did this, either he or National President Akhilesh Yadav would know.
The former MP expressed his anger on the question of contesting elections from Allahabad Lok Sabha constituency, cornering Akhilesh Yadav and saying that after the alliance, Allahabad parliamentary seat was deliberately given to Congress, while Congress was demanding Phulpur seat.Allahabad has been the traditional seat of SP, it should not have been given. There is dissatisfaction among party workers with this decision, he added.
Replying to a question of contact with BJP, he said, there has been no contact with anyone yet. On himself and his son Ujjwal Raman Singh contesting the elections, he said that only time will tell.
