On the occasion of the seventh death anniversary of Late Radhika Devi, mother of Bharat Express News Network Chairman, MD and Editor-in-Chief, Upendrra Rai, a prayer meeting was organised on Saturday at her residence in Sherpur village of Ghazipur district.
Upendrra Rai offered a floral tribute (Pushpanjali) to his late mother in this prayer meeting. Many well-known personalities and public representatives of the state were also present for the prayer meeting. The dignitaries present on the occasion also paid a tribute by offering flowers to the late Radhika Devi on her death anniversary.
Remembering his late mother, Bharat Express News Network Chairman Upendrra Rai expressed his heartfelt emotions. He said, “It is only natural to remember one’s mother on her death anniversary. I will miss my mother’s presence throughout my life. Whenever scattered pieces of my mother’s love and affection are felt, an effort has been made to put together those pieces and fill the void of her love and presence. But in the race towards desires and expectations those pieces do get shattered.”
