Upendra Rai, Bharat Express Chairman in the Soldier Marathon Vijay Run
A Soldier Marathon – Vijay Run was organized at Hakimpet Airbase, Hyderabad which was attended by Bharat Express Chairman Upendra Rai as an eminent Guest.

The Soldierathon Vijay Run was organized today at Hakimpet Air Force Station, Secunderabad, Hyderabad. The purpose of organizing this marathon is to collect funds for the families of soldiers martyred in the war. The main sponsor of this event is GAIL. Upendra Rai, Chairman, MD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network participated in the Soldierathon Vijay Run as an eminent guest.
The Soldierathon Vijay Run was organized simultaneously at 176 places across the country. This marathon was organized in different categories of 21 km, 10 km and 5 km, in which thousands of people of different ages participated.
The main purpose of organizing this marathon is to collect funds for the families of the soldiers who died in the war. Till now about 33 lakh rupees have been collected in this event.

Union Minister VK Singh, Gail India CMD Sandeep Singh and General Sidana were also present in the programme.
