A drastic incident took place on the occasion of Holi in Delhi, According to reports from news agency PTI a man allegedly slit the throat of his wife.
The horrifying incident took place at Baldhawar Colony, Bakhtawarpur, falling under the jurisdiction of the Alipur police station.
The deceased has been named as Arti, and the accused is Manjeet, according to the police. According to police, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate has been advised to start the 176 Code of Criminal Procedure process.
The Delhi Police received a call at the police control room at 6:50 pm on Monday. The caller reported that a woman had been badly beaten up by her husband.
According to the police, “On reaching the spot, it was found that the woman Aarti was lying in a pool of blood with her throat slit.”

The cops continued, “The husband who is accused has been apprehended.”
After six years of marriage, the couple had two kids, ages three and five.
A case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code sections 302 and 304B.
Police said on Tuesday, Mustakim, was shot and killed on Monday during an argument in the Shastri Park neighbourhood of northeast Delhi. Although Yaseen, the accused, is on the run, efforts are being made to apprehend him.
DCP Joy Tirkey said, “Mustakim was shot in the chest. He was taken to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where he was declared dead. The body has been shifted to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examination.”
Monday evening, Mustakim and his friend Sohail went to the home of the latter’s ex-spouse, Ishrat, who works at a bar. Ishrat wanted to marry Yaseen according to the police.
