Union Home Minister Amit Shah met with President Droupadi Murmu on Friday, describing the visit as a courtesy call.

Home Minister met with the president a day after returning from Manipur, where he spent four days surveying the situation in the aftermath of ethnic violence. In the northeastern state, he also met a diverse range of people.
