In Himachal Pradesh’s capital, a catastrophic landslide that swept away a Hindu temple has left a trail of devastation and grief. The search and rescue efforts, which resumed on the fourth day, led to the recovery of another body, pushing the death toll to 14.
The retrieved body was identified as that of a professor from Himachal Pradesh University, found 2km away from the disaster site.

Among the victims were Pawan Sharma, 60, who owned a shop in the Summer Hill market, his wife Santosh Sharma, 57, son Aman Sharma, 32, daughter-in-law Archana Sharma, 27, and three granddaughters aged between 12 and 1.5 years.
Their presence at the temple for a havan turned into an unimaginable tragedy when the temple collapsed.
While the bodies of four family members have been recovered, the fate of the remaining three hangs in uncertainty.
