Himachal Cabinet Expansion: 7 MLAs Sworn-in As Cabinet Ministers Including Jagat Negi, Vikramaditya Singh

Himachal Cabinet Expansion: Himachal Pradesh witnesses swearing in ceremony of its seven MLAs including Vikramaditya Singh and Jagat Negi at Raj Bhavan in Shimla today.

With ten vacancies in the council of ministers, the total number of ministers cannot exceed twelve, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in the state

Himachal Cabinet Expansion: Among seven New Ministers sworn-in at Raj Bhavan during the Himachal Cabinet Expansion today, Jagat Negi, Vikramaditya Singh as expected have been included in the list of new minister along with seven others

Vikramaditya, ex-CM’s son

New members’ swearing-in ceremony for the Himachal Pradesh cabinet has commenced at the Raj Bhavan in Shimla. New Minister Vikramaditya Singh is son of ex-CM Virbhadhra Singh who now will be assisting the Chief Minister closely along with his own cabinate responsibility.

Among the total of seven MLAs- Jagat Singh Negi, Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil, Harshwardhan Chauhan, Chander Kumar, Rohit Thakur,  and Vikramaditya Singh and Anirudh Singh took oath as new cabinet ministers of the state.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu along with Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri in the presence of Himachal Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar were among the attendees of the ceremony.

The top ladder to finalized the next Ministers

Following the announcement of the state CM, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu  that Cabinet expansion is to be done soon, a list of ten chosen MLAs has been submitted to the high command of the party.

CMSukhu stated that the probable ministers’ list has been handed over to the party high command, and now next expansion will take place soon after it is finalized by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Dhani Ram, the eldest MLA

Son of the former state CM Virbhadhra Singh, Vikramaditya Singh and eldest MLA in the state cabinet, Dhani Ram Shandil are among the 7 new MLAs set to be included into the HP Cabinet, as per the sources.

One of the senior most leaders of the state, Dhani Ram Shandil (82) defeated his own relative in the Solan assembly seat, while Vikramaditya won from Shimla Rural seat.
