New members’ swearing-in ceremony for the Himachal Pradesh cabinet has commenced at the Raj Bhavan in Shimla. New Minister Vikramaditya Singh is son of ex-CM Virbhadhra Singh who now will be assisting the Chief Minister closely along with his own cabinate responsibility.
Among the total of seven MLAs- Jagat Singh Negi, Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil, Harshwardhan Chauhan, Chander Kumar, Rohit Thakur, and Vikramaditya Singh and Anirudh Singh took oath as new cabinet ministers of the state.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu along with Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri in the presence of Himachal Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar were among the attendees of the ceremony.
Following the announcement of the state CM, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu that Cabinet expansion is to be done soon, a list of ten chosen MLAs has been submitted to the high command of the party.
CMSukhu stated that the probable ministers’ list has been handed over to the party high command, and now next expansion will take place soon after it is finalized by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
