Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Tuesday that people in Haryana rejected the opposition’s false propaganda. He stated that voters showed faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He predicted the same result for Maharashtra in November.
Fadnavis said the BJP faced false propaganda during the Lok Sabha elections. However, the party decided to respond. He called the Haryana and J&K elections the “first test” after the Lok Sabha polls. “Voters rejected the opposition’s lies and supported PM Modi’s development program,” he said.
He added that the opposition spread false information about the Agniveer Yojana in Haryana. “Voters ignored this and gave us a bigger win than before,” Fadnavis said.
Fadnavis emphasized that democracy triumphed in Jammu & Kashmir after Article 370 was repealed. He said the people of Kashmir rejected Pakistan’s propaganda and voted for stability.
Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule agreed with Fadnavis. He said that the success in Haryana will repeat in Maharashtra. “A double-engine government will ensure Maharashtra’s development,” Bawankule said.
BJP will launch the “Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” to connect with voters. Bawankule said BJP workers will counter Congress lies and highlight the government’s work.
