Gorakhpur Wrestling Competition, Find Out Who won ‘Block Kesari’

A significant wrestling riot tournament was held at Piprauli in the Uttar Pradesh district of Gorakhpur on March 9 (Thursday). The title match between ‘Block Kesari,’ ‘Block Kumar,’ and ‘Block Veer Abhimanyu’ began around 11 a.m.

A large crowd had gathered to watch the championship match of the dangal competition.

Mithilesh Kumar was defeated by Azhar alias Golu on the basis of points, earning Azhar the title of ‘Block Kesari’. In this competition, Mithilesh Kumar earned the second-place finish. The third spot was held by Indrajit Kumar.

Ashutosh Kumar and Satyam Pehelwan competed for the ‘Block Kumar’ title. Ashutosh Kumar overcame Satyam and earned the designation ‘Block Kumar’. Satyam wrestler came in second place, while Durga wrestler came in third.

Nihal wrestled against Vrajesh Pal in the ‘Block Veer Abhimanyu’ championship match. Nihal won the title by defeating Vrajesh Pal. First-place finishers received a mace and a cash prize, while second and third-place finishers received a shield and a cash prize. The dangal competition was hosted by national wrestler Shailesh Yadav.

The competition was attended by international wrestler Amarnath Yadav, national wrestler Om Prakash Rai, Girdhari wrestler, Ramashankar wrestler, Gama wrestler, Upendra wrestler, Chandra Shekhar wrestler, Rashid wrestler, District Panchayat member Avadhanarayan Yadav, and national wrestler and organizer Satyabir Yadav.
