The third and final day of the Ghazipur Literature Festival 2025 concluded with a vibrant celebration of ideas, culture, and literature.

Upendra Rai, CMD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express, captivated the audience with his thought-provoking address. He shared personal reflections on how books shape human lives.

CMD Rai highlighted the deep connection between literature, values, and identity.

He shared untold stories from his own life, drawing lessons from books and the enduring values instilled by his parents.

Celebrating Freedom, Faith, and Literature

His words struck an emotional chord with the audience, blending wisdom, humility, and inspiration.

CMD Rai held an insightful discussion with Dr Anand Pradhan, Sameer Chatterjee, Manoj Rai, and Abhinav Arun.

They explored Ghazipur’s significant role in India’s freedom movement and military history.

The conversation honoured the region’s unsung heroes who contributed silently yet powerfully to the nation’s struggle for independence.

He reflected on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, linking them with the spiritual philosophies of Mahavir and Buddha.

CMD Rai said true freedom comes from liberating the soul, achieving inner awakening, harmony, and self-realisation.

His perspective revealed the depth of Indian consciousness and its timeless relevance in the modern world.

The festival hosted a grand book fair that attracted a large crowd of readers, writers, and admirers.

CMD Upendra Rai, along with Bharat Express CEO Varun Kohli, Social Media Head Pooja Chaubey, and several senior officials, attended the event.

Visitors eagerly clicked pictures and engaged in lively conversations, turning the fair into a space buzzing with intellectual energy.

The book fair reaffirmed that literature extends beyond pages; it is a living dialogue about society, culture, and freedom.

CMD Rai’s inspiring presence turned the Ghazipur Literature Festival into a bridge between the past and the present.

It beautifully blended tradition with thought and spirituality with expression.

As the curtains fell on GLF 2025, one message resonated deeply: books continue to shape minds, awaken souls, and remind us of the values that define our shared humanity.
