Ganga Vilas: On the eve of the inauguration of the river cruise MV Ganga Vilas from Varanasi to Dibrugarh, Sur Sarita ‘Ganga ki Swar Samta’ was organized at Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Thursday. The chief guest of this program was CM Yogi Adityanath and the special guest was Union Cabinet Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Union Minister of State Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti.
Addressing the gathering during the program, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The Ganga Vilas cruise service is being inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi. The operation of this service will have a positive impact on the local communities. This initiative will encourage tourism and cultural activities as well as create new employment opportunities.
CM Yogi said, “The state government will promote local products and handicrafts. Thus, this cruise service will prove to be useful in realizing the vision of Arthganga as per the objective of PM Modi.”

“Operation of Ganga Vilas Cruise Service in the Amrit Mahotsav year of Independence will also give a new height to PM Modi’s concept of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat. With the construction of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the number of tourists in Varanasi has increased manifold. National waterway number one has started under the guidance of PM Modi. Apart from coming through land and skyways, devotees can now come to Kashi by water route. The state government is determined to provide the best facilities to all the pilgrims and tourists coming to the state” added CM Yogi.
