G20 Summit 2023 Live Updates: As the third G20 travel industry Working Gathering meeting started in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar on Monday, delegates from the Gathering of 20 countries showed up in Indian-controlled Kashmir to take part in a travel industry meeting denounced by China and Pakistan.
The first significant international event in Kashmir since New Delhi stripped the Muslim-majority region of semi-autonomy in 2019 is the meeting scheduled for later Monday. The meeting is expected to demonstrate, according to Indian authorities, that the contentious changes have brought “peace and prosperity” to the region.
