Law Minister Kiren Rijiju met with an accident in J&K
Union Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju’s car met with an accident in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, said the officials.
However, it’s a relief that the union minister has escaped unhurt from the incident.
According to the police officials, the Law minister’s car was hit by a fully loaded truck near Ramban along Jammu- Srinagar highway.
Speaking to the media, the police said, “While going from Jammu to Srinagar by road, Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju’s car met with a minor accident. No one was injured in the accident. The honourable minister was driven safely to his destination.”
The video of the incident has surfaced on the internet, showing men rushing to open the doors of the Minister’s black Scorpio and getting people out.
Also, some pictures also showed that the union minister was coming out of the vehicle as large numbers of security guards are present.
Earlier that day, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju shared a clip of his trip to Udhampur.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Going from Jammu to Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir to attend Legal Services Camp. Many beneficiaries of the Central Govt Schemes are attending the function along with Judges and NALSA team. Now, one can enjoy the beautiful road throughout the journey.”
