From Caribbean To Central Asia, PM Modi Acknowledges 25-Year Milestone Greetings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday acknowledged greetings from world leaders as he marked 25 years as head of government, thanking leaders from the Caribbean, Africa, Central Asia and East Asia for their wishes and messages.

Responding to Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, PM Modi thanked her for her warm wishes and highlighted the growing friendship between the two countries. He said India and Trinidad and Tobago would continue working to strengthen their partnership.

PM Modi also thanked Grenada Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, saying he valued the friendship between India and Grenada and looked forward to further strengthening bilateral ties.

Responding to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, PM Modi thanked him for his wishes and congratulated him on assuming office for another term. He recalled his visit to Ethiopia last December and his recent meeting with Ali in New Delhi, reaffirming India’s commitment to the Strategic Partnership between the two countries.

The Prime Minister thanked Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highlighting their close friendship and strategic partnership and expressing his desire to deepen bilateral ties.

PM Modi thanked Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema for his greetings and said India valued its friendship with Zambia. He expressed confidence in further strengthening the bilateral partnership.

Responding to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, PM Modi recalled her visit to India in July and said it had further strengthened the India-Japan partnership. He expressed confidence that bilateral ties would reach new heights as the two countries approach the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

PM Modi also thanked former Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić for his warm words and personal contribution to strengthening India-Serbia relations. He praised Vučić’s service to Serbia and expressed his desire to take the bilateral partnership to greater heights.

The messages reflected the continued diplomatic engagement between India and partner countries as PM Modi marked 25 years at the helm of government.
