Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has been hospitalized at Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital after testing positive for both coronavirus and swine flu. The 72-year-old politician was admitted late on Friday with a fever and low oxygen saturation.
According to a doctor at SMS Hospital quoted by news agency PTI, Gehlot is currently receiving oxygen support, and his condition is stable. In a social media post on Friday night, Gehlot apprised people about his health condition, through a social media post on the micro-blogging platform X. He articulated in Hindi, “Due to fever for the last few days, got tested today on the advice of doctors, which confirmed Covid and swine flu. Because of this, I will not be able to meet for the next seven days.”
Additionally, he also advised people to prioritise their health during this changing weather. He said, “In this changing season, all of you should also take care of your health.”
