NSA Ajit Doval Meets Russian Deputy PM Denis Manturov, Discuss Bilateral Issues

National Security Consultant Ajit Doval on Monday met Russian Deputy PM and Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov and examined a scope of bilateral issues to execute key connections between the two nations.

Denis Manturov, who is on a two-day visit to India, will likewise hold various respective gatherings during his visit to Delhi.

“NSA Shri Ajit Doval met Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade & Industry of the Russian Federation on 17 April 2023. The two sides examined a scope of respective issues to carry out the India-Russia key organization,” an assertion from the public authority said.

Earlier today, Manturov went to a business-to-business discussion. He will be co-leading the gathering of the respective Between Oversee mental Commission with Outside Issues Pastor S Jaishankar on Tuesday, the statement added.

Doval had met Denis Manturov during his visit to Russia in August last year and both sides had examined a scope of issues connected to bilateral security cooperation.

Manturov’s visit comes as trade ties between India and Russia are getting stronger, especially with New Delhi buying more discounted crude oil from Russia.
