Five individuals found themselves in distress after consuming mouth freshener at Laforestta Cafe in Gurugram’s Sector 90. Ankit Kumar, accompanied by his wife and friends, experienced a horrifying turn of events captured on video. In the footage, the group is seen writhing in pain, with one individual vomiting on the restaurant floor while another desperately tries to soothe the burning sensation with ice.
Expressing concern over the unknown substances in the mouth freshener, Mr. Kumar urged others in the cafe to summon the authorities as everyone began to experience severe symptoms. Reports indicate that the victims initially felt a burning sensation before vomiting blood, with attempts to alleviate the discomfort proving futile.

Emergency services rushed the five individuals to the hospital, where two were admitted in critical condition. The incident prompted police intervention, with a case registered against the cafe’s owner based on the victims’ complaints.
