The DCM building with several offices that are located in central Delhi has caught fire. Ten fire engines were dispatched to the scene; however, no casualties have been indicated as of now.
The DCM building on Barakhamba Road, which is near Connaught Place, had a fire that started on the ninth level. Images taken at the scene showed smoke covering the floor above and flames shooting out of the ninth-story windows.
By the time firefighting personnel started putting out the fire, a heavy downpour had already started. A fire truck’s water jet was pointed towards the building in the operation’s footage, while the rain assisted in clearing the smoke.
The way that traffic moves on the road has been impacted. Senior firefighters have arrived at the location.
