Empowering Differently-Abled Individuals
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh distributed 10 motorized tricycles in Lucknow today, saying, “It is my responsibility to fulfill the wishes of differently-abled individuals.” He mentioned that the Uttar Pradesh government has implemented various schemes for the welfare of the differently-abled, including pensions, and he emphasized his commitment to resolving the issues faced by them and providing support for self-reliance.
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, the BJP MLA from Sarojini Nagar in Lucknow, expressed that his government is continuously taking steps to empower the youth. He also extended his support to assist anyone in need and urged them to visit his office to seek help. He assured the distribution of motorized tricycles to those differently-abled individuals who can operate them and promised to provide all necessary resources for their livelihood. Additionally, he pledged to construct a grand park in Neelmatha in memory of martyrs, connecting the local population with developmental schemes.
The MLA highlighted that Sarojininagar received 5 crore rupees from the Chief Minister’s fund for the development of the region. He mentioned that continuous efforts are being made to reach the benefits of differently-abled empowerment to their doorstep, including setting up free camps, facilitating the creation of UDID cards, and providing constant assistance equipment.
Previously, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh had distributed 50 lakh worth of equipment, including motorized tricycles, manual tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other resources, to differently-abled individuals on January 14, 2023. Furthermore, on March 11, 2023, during the ‘Gratitude Day’ event, he provided 5 motorized tricycles, 5 manual tricycles, and 2 wheelchairs.
