Electronics Among Top 3 Export Items, PM Modi Re-shares Ashwini Vaishnav’s ‘X’ Post

Sharing Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav’s ‘X’ post, a post in which he celebrates electronics becoming the top 3rd item in India’s export list. PM said that it was a matter of immense joy as the electronics exports, driven by Apple iPhones, reached the third spot in the top 10 exports in the April-June quarter (Q1 FY25).

Notably, tagging a piece of a newspaper, that on the basis of data claimed India has become the third electronic exporter, Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnav said that electronics are now among the top third export item. He further wrote, “making in India, shipping worldwide”.

Sharing the ‘X’ post Ashwini Vaishnav, PM said that it is matter of immense Joy and that India’s prowess in electronics is powered by India’s youth shakti.

According to data by the Department of Commerce, electronics exports are now in the third position, with engineering products at the top, followed by petroleum.

“This is indeed a matter of immense joy. India’s prowess in electronics is powered by our innovative ‘Yuva Shakti’. It is also a testament to our emphasis on reforms and boosting Make in India,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X social media platform.

“India remains committed to continuing this momentum in the times to come,” PM Modi added.
