Egg seller in Uttarkhand beaten to death
After a small argument, some men allegedly beat the man to death with an iron bucket while he was selling eggs on a pushcart in this district, Roorkee, according to police on Thursday. The egg seller, Akash, was asked to move his stall, but he refused, according to the assassins.
The primary accused in this case, Abhishek, was taken into custody on Thursday, almost after 12 hours of the incident, according to Swapna Kishore, Superintendent of Police (SP), Rural. According to Kishore, Abhishek, a resident of the Bhagwanpur area, has admitted to his crime and claimed that he intended to teach Akash a lesson. The SP stated that a search is underway to find his accomplices, who are still at large. The official said that the bucket that was used in the murder had also been found.
The Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 21/24 and 302 have been brought against the accused, according to the SP. Akash, an egg vendor on a pushcart near Roorkee Talkies, got into a fight with Bhisheek and his friends on Wednesday after they demanded that he move, according to the police.
When Akash disobeyed Abhishek and his friends, they attacked him with a bucket. They claimed to have hit Akash on the head eleven times with the bucket before running away. In this case, the father of the deceased, Swaminath, lodged a complaint against Abhishek and his associates.
Such cases show how people are becoming arrogant and there is now value for a human being’s life nowadays. Such a petty issue can become a major concern that it can take somebody’s life. Also, the culprit had no sign of guilt as he stated that he wished to teach the egg seller a lesson.
